Is the Housing Crisis Behind Us?

Realtor Magazine reports that foreclosures are rapidly beginning to decline.  Proof of that is a 15 percent month-to-month drop from October to November which is the largest monthly drop in three years as reported by RealtyTrac.  Since this time last year there has been a 37 percent decrease in foreclosure filings.  Also foreclosure filings, default notices, auctions, and bank repossessions posted large declines.  Since the peak of the housing crisis in 2010 homes entering the foreclosure process have dropped by two-thirds.  Homes starting the foreclsoure process have fallen to their lowest level since December 2005.
